| A long time ago, far, far away...OK so not that long ago, July of 1985 to be exact and not that far away, Portland Oregon, is where it all began. Dandydogs Worldwide Traveler CD aka Travis came into my life. I still remember the day we brought him home. I had so many plans for him. Little did I know that Travis would launch me into the world of wheatens. Through the years my knowledge and love for the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier has flourished. What started from a childhood hobby would become a lifetime of love, devotion and passion for this fabulous breed. Burdigan Wheatens are located in Spokane, WA. We are a quick four hour drive from Seattle Washington and six hours from Portland Oregon. Several of our wheaten terrier puppies have been placed in homes in the Portland and Seattle areas. Josh and Julie own a dog daycare and boarding facility, Play N Stay, and bring their wheatens to work with them so they can play all day with their doggie friends! We are proud to say that our wheatens compete in both conformation and obedience, and we dabble in agility a bit! We believe this helps make them a more well rounded dog. |
