A long time ago, far, far away...OK so not that long ago, July of 1985 to be exact and not that far away,  Portland Oregon, is where it all began.  Dandydogs Worldwide Traveler CD aka Travis came into my life.  I still remember the day we brought him home.  I had so many plans for him.  Little did I know that Travis would launch me into the world of wheatens.  Through the years my knowledge and love for the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier has flourished. What started from a childhood hobby would become a lifetime of love, devotion and passion for this fabulous breed. Burdigan Wheatens are located in Spokane, WA.  We are a quick four hour drive from Seattle Washington and six hours from Portland Oregon.  Several of our wheaten terrier puppies have been placed in homes in the Portland and Seattle areas.   Josh and Julie own a dog daycare and boarding facility, Play N Stay, and bring their wheatens to work with them so they can play all day with their doggie friends! We are proud to say that our wheatens compete in both conformation and obedience, and we dabble in agility a bit!   We believe this helps make them a more well rounded dog.

1/22/12...Sanders picks up 23 grand champion points!  Only 2 more points and he will be our first GCH!!!


1/16/12...Finley goes WB for her second 5 point  major and finishes her championship!!!


1/15/12...Finley goes BOW for her first 5 point major!!!


1/14/12...Sanders goes BOW/BOS over specials for a 5 pt major and finished his championship!!!


11/20/11...Finley goes Best of Opposite under well respected breeder/judge Cindy Vogels.


11/19/11...Finley goes winners bitch for 1 point!


10/30/11...Finley gets her silly act together and goes Best of Winners for 2 points!


10/8/11...Pinch makes us proud taking a HUGE 4 pt major at Devon Dog Shows.  This also makes her a new champion!!!  Way to go Pinch!  She is always handled by co-owners   Pam & John Mandeville, Banner Wheatens.
